Early Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Puma of Solingen. The fit is perfect, the tip is perfect the crossgrain is stunning against the light and the acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Puma Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid Exc++. It has just the slightest spotting throughout. The patinaed brown anodized scabbard looks good, remaining completely dent free while retaining 90%+ of it's factory lacquer over the brown anodized finish. The nicely toned solid nickel scabbard fittings look great, they do have wee bumps from normal period use. The ball remains completely round. All four screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is absolutely perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Wm". The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The brown hardwood grip has a nice finish and looks great! It has ween normal small hits and bumps as one expects from normal period use. There are not chips or cracks, no not even above the roundel. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. Nice example by a desired maker.
