Early SA Dagger by Kuno Ritter

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

An Early Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Kuno Ritter of Solingen. The blade on this one has been cleaned hard leaving it very bright and reflective. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto is still clearly visible and the double oval maker mark which remains dark and crisp. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. This blade rates an Exc. The steel based brownish red anodized scabbard looks good. It retains much factory lacquer. It has taken some hits to the sides leaving some dents. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent. The ball has been dented in to the very bottom. All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked “Nrh”. The brown hardwood grip looks great! It has a microscopic hairline to the lower obverse. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful detail and has a wee reair to the wood just below the wing. It's tiny, when? who? we'll never know. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 95%+ of its enamel.
