Here we have a Model 1933 SA Dagger (Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch) by F. Ed.Ohliger Solingen. The blade on this one has gray, clouding and runner marks. It's been cleaned but the etch remains distinct. The fit is nice and tight. the blade has been retipped by 9mm. The blade rates a VG. The brown anodized scabbard looks good retainig 100% of the finish with some light surface oxidation. It has some light impressions to the sides while retaining all it’s screws. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look good! The ball has a wee bruise to the very bottom and continues to remain round. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The crossguards match the scabbard fittings in wear, color and patina. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped “Wm”. The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip suffers hairlines, some flakes and a chip to the upper right reverse. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel
