An Early Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by E Pack. The bright blade on this one looks good. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfectly sharp point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "E.P. & S. Solingen" maker mark are nicely executed! The blade rates a solid Exc+. It has age grey and spotting throughout. The scabbard has some oxidization wear, and it remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in good condition, with only a few bruises to the bottom fitting. The ball has the slightest bruise and still retains its original round shape! All four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gruppe stamped "Ho" (Niederrhein). The grip / crossguard fits are excellent! The brown hardwood grip has a soft finish and looks awesome! There are a few bruises but no chips, cracks or splits! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. Overall it's a great example by a common maker and one you can't go wrong on!
