The blade on this one looks good! The crossgrain looks good the fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Ed. Wusthof Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! There is a small mark below and left of the maker mark. The blade rates Exc++! There is some minor age throughout. The blade measures the full 220 mm. The undented brown anodized scabbard has the finish worn down to the base metal. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great! The ball has a small pressure mark to its bottom and all four screws remaining intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition and matching the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "He". The brown multi-toned hardwood grip looks great! It is chip, crack and flake free. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 90% of its enamel. This piece also comes with a well working, early "snout nosed" clip!
