Early NSKK Dagger by Hugo Servatius

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

Here we have a rare early model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Hugo Servatius of Solingen. This one rates 9 out of 10 for rarity on McSaars SA rarity rating list! The blade on this one has lots of age spotting. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Hugo Servatius Solingen" maker mark are both nicely executed! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! It shows age grey throughout. The scabbard is steel based and period black repainted, (as all early NSKK's are) in a heavy black lacquer. It shows wear and chipping throughout but remains dent-free. The solid nickel-silver scabbard fittings show wear. The bottom is banged in and the screws are messed with. All four scabbard screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse is Gruppe stamped "S", Schlesien. The brown hardwood grip looks good. It is chip and crack-free. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has been pushed out a bit by time and shrinkage. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel but has age darkening. A rare one!
