An Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by FR Kohlen of Solingen. The blade on this one has been cleaned hard lightening the etch some. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and maker mark are styill clearly visible. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. This blade rates a Exc/Exc+. It shows age spotting and age grey throughout along with minor surface scratches. The scabbard is steel based, brown anodized and finally period repainted. There are surface scratches to the finishfrom normal period wear. The solid nickel scabbard fittings match the crossguards perfectly. The ball has a hit to one side yet it retains it's basic shape and all four screws remain tightly intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "S" (Schlesien). The brown hardwood grip looks as though it has been repaired with large cracks. It also shows some flakes and pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel bird is beautiful! It shows nice detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. The pommel nut has some scratches. Not the best condition but good price.
