An Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Robert Giersch. The blade on this one has been cleaned and is nice! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Rob. Giersch Solingen" maker mark are both crisp and beautifully executed! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates in at an easy Exc+/Exc++. The undented steel based black period repainted black scabbard looks great. There are a few wee hits to the lower fitting and a couple small hits to the ball. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent matching the crossguards in color and patina! All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Wm" (Westmark). The brown hardwood grip looks excellent! It shows some wee hits from normal period wear throughout but that's it! No cracks, flakes or chips. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel.
