Here we have a NSDAP Political Leaders Belt Buckle by Christian Theodor Eicke. This style of buckle was introduced in 1940. It is constructed out of a die struck aluminum-alloy based that has been gold gilded, with polished highlights. The round shaped obverse features a centrally placed NSDAP 1939 pattern eagle without-stretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons, on top of an oval textured backing and is surrounded by an oak leaf and acorn wreath that is tied together at the bottom. The slightly concave reverse shows an embossed maker mark that reads: "RZM M4/22". It also shows a aluminum-alloy catch and rectangular hook, keeper and prongs.
