ReichsKriegsFlagge 100x170(cm). It is constructed out of a red, white and black printed cotton linen base. The obverse depicts an off centered black mobile swastika on a white roundel with four black/white strips running through it and a black pattée style cross to the top-hoist corner. The reverse depicts a mirror image of the obverse. The hoist end has a stitched on, white cotton re-enforcing edge that has a rope running though the length of it which is looped to each side. It also has red rectangular re-enforcement pieces to the hoist corners. The edge is marked in black ink and reads: “Kr.Fl. 100 X 170” (Kriegs (War) Flag and the size) and maker marked. The fly end has been folded over and stitched together. This piece is in wonderful condition and is nicely marked. A beautiful piece!
