Early NSKK Dagger by Carl Heidelberg

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

An Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch). The bright blade on this one looks good! The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Carl Heidelberg Solingen" maker mark are nicely executed! There are some dots of age and some fine scratches but lots of crossgrain. The blade rates an Exc++. The dent-free scabbard has been recently repainted black, the paint is 99.9% and has some "orange peel" finish. All the fittings are nickel. The ball is undented. The scabbard continues to retain all four screws. The scabbard / crossguard fit is good. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Nrh". The crossguards and scabbard fittings match in color and wear! The multi-toned brown hardwood grip looks good! It shows the common pressure marks/scratches throughout. There's a flake to the upper obverse above the roundel. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 95% of its enamel!

Rating:    Exc+/Exc++
