A Super Deluxe set of Model 1935 Heer Dolchgehänge. The back connector, buckles and clips are constructed out of an injection molded zinc-alloy base that has been silver washed. The bands are tombak based. They all depict beautiful detail with oak leaves and acorns throughout. The grommets are zinc and the prongs are brass based. All of the components are held together with two straps that are held to the top connector with a peened on stamped tombak re-enforcement piece. The straps are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a green wool/felt material (reverse) and a machine embroidered rayon and aluminum flatwire stitching (obverse). Both show wear and fraying. Both clips continue to work well. The clips strap collectors and back connector are all “DRGM” marked. A good set!
