A WHW Heer Artillerie Swallowtail Standarte Flag Tinnie. This is one of a 20+ piece series called the “The Victorious Flags and Standards of the German Armed Forces” (Die Siegreichen Fahnen und Standarten der Deutschen Wehrmacht) that was introduced March 16-17th, 1940. It is constructed out of an injection molded grey bakelite base that has been silver washed and red and black painted. The obverse depicts an Artillerie swallowtail standarte flag, on a pole. The reverse reads: “Artillerie” and “1 Sa” and features a horizontally melted/glued on steel round plate pin assembly remains in well working condition. It measures 1 ¼ inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. Beautiful paint work! Collect them all!
