Hitler Youth Knife by RZM M7/45/41

A Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by RZM M7/45 1941 - Karl Böcker of Solingen. The ricassoed blade on this one is fair. The dark and crisp stamped “RZM M7/45/41” maker mark is nicely executed. It has a solid fit and a perfect tip. The blade rates Exc++. It has heavy age grey, spotting and scratches throughout. The leather buffer remains intact. The scabbard is post-war, with some original parts. These scabbards often get passed off as originals but they are not. The female snap portion has broken off. The hilt is constructed out of a zinc base that has been nickel-silver plated. The quillion has broken off. The obverse grip plate is black checkered bakelite. The HJ Diamond emblem looks great, retaining 97% of its enamel. The reverse grip plate has been replaced with a wooden one. Both steel rivets remain intact. An inexpensive option!
