An Early Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by Carl & Rob Linder of Weyer-Solingen. The blade on this one looks good. The stamped “Carl & Rob Linder Weyer-Solingen” maker mark and “Ges. Gesch.” patent mark are both beautifully executed. The acid etched “Blut und Ehre!” motto looks great! The tip comes to a nice point and the fit is tight as it should be. The blade rates an Exc+. It shows the slightest sharpening, a few hits to the cutting edge, surface scratches and age grey throughout. The blackened leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black painted scabbard is in excellent condition! It shows typical spidering throughout. It retains 99% paint coverage and it remains completely dent free. The blackened scabbard leather is in excellent condition! It has all of its rivets intact and the snap continues to work well. The steel based nickel-silver plated hilt retains 90% of its plating. The pommel top has a scratched in personalization which reads: "WG". I missed that photo just Contact Us if you need it. The grip plates are black checkered bakelite and remain in near perfect condition. Both solid nickel-silver rivets remain tightly secured. The HJ diamond retains 99% of its enamel. A nice unique Hitler Youth Knife!
