A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/66 1939 (Carl Eickhorn of Solingen) direct from the Vet's family. This one is nice. The blade on this one is a real beauty! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/66" (Carl Eickhorn, Solingen) maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning as it shines in the light! The tip is perfect as is the fit! The blade rates an easy NM with just minor age. The steel based brown enamel painted undented scabbard has 99.9% of its original paint intact and it remains completely dent free! You have to look hard but you can see the slightest age spidering. The alloy based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look wonderful with 97% plating still intact. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect! The nickel-silver plated crossguards look wonderful as well matching the crossguards perfectly. The grained brown hardwood grip has a few flakes to the upper obverse crossguard fit. The nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and sits perfectly in the grip. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! Included it the original SA RZM marked hanger.
