An Army Infantry Standarte Flag Tinnie, introduced March 16-17th, 1940! This is one of a 20+ piece series of: “The Victorious Flags and Standards of the German Armed Forces” (Die Siegreichen Fahnen und Standarten der Deutschen Wehrmacht).It is constructed out of an injection molded grey celluloid base that has been painted. The obverse depicts an Army Infantry Standarte Flag, on a pole. The reverse reads: "We.3" and "Infantry". The melted on round plate steel pin continues to work well! It measures 1 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/8 wide. A cool piece!
