A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M.7/94 1939 - Gegr. Bell of Solingen-Gr. The blade on this one is gorgeous! The dark and crisp acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M.7/94 1939” maker mark are beautifully executed! The crossgrain wonderfully shines against the light, running the full length of the blade! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates an easy NM. It shows one age grey spot below the maker mark and the typical surface scratches throughout. The scabbard is steel based and brown painted. It shows spidering throughout. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 97%+ paint coverage. The scabbard fittings are steel based and nickel-silver plated. They hold nice plating coverage. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws are tightly secured. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are zinc based and nickel-silver plated. The plating has faded with time. The brown hardwood grip looks excellent. It has the typical pressure marks but no cracks, chips or flakes. The nickel-silver eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A very nice RZM example you will enjoy!
