A Metall Brustadler für Sommer uniform Kriegsmarine by F. W. Assmann & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been gold gilded. The obverse features a Kriegsmarine eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The fullback reverse is lightly maker marked “A”. It also features a soldered on round wire catch, soldered on hinge, round wire pin and flat wire keeper pin. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 7/16 inches tall. Nice frosting to the swastika and wreath. A desirable piece.
