Here we have an Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch). by F. Ed. Ohliger of Solingen. The blade on this one has been cleaned hard, perhaps on a buffer or such. In doing so it has worn the obverse motto hard and removed some of it to the obverse. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "F. Ed. Ohliger Solingen" maker mark are both still evident. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! The scabbard is steel based and repainted black. The paint looks to be post-war redone professionally. It shows a bit of wear. It remains completely dent free! The solid nickel-silver scabbard fittings are in fine shape, matching the crossguards in color and patina. The ball has bruises. Four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is good and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "Wm" (Westmark). The brown hardwood grip looks good but there is a crack to the lower portion. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a near perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. Included is an original short hanger.
