U.S. WW1 Hospital Corps Knife Model 1912

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

This knife is marked "US" over "30990" on ricasso. Reverse stamped "SA" (Springfield Armory) over "Flaming Bomb" over "1912". The bright (2nd pattern) blade is free of sharpening and there are some minor finger stains. It has been cleaned. The brass guard, rivets and pommel cap wear a nice dark patina. Grips show scratches and normal period wear. Scabbard is stamped "Rock Island/Arsenal/1912. H.E.K." and "L.s. C.o. LB W1" stamped across the body, sorry hard to read. Scabbard has blued steel clip with nickel finished throat. Leather is strong with tight seams. The blued belt hanger retains a very nice clean example of this classic American service knife that would be difficult to upgrade.
