A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Gustav C. Spitzer, Solingen. The blade on this one is excellent! The dark and crisp acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and "RZM M7/80" (Gustav C. Spitzer, Solingen) maker mark are both nicely executed! The crossgrain wonderfully shines against the light, running the full length of the blade! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates an easy Exc++. It shows minor spotting and the common runnermarks / surface scratches. The scabbard is steel based and brown enamel painted. It shows minor oxidation and surface scratches. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 98%+ paint coverage! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The zinc based nickel plated crossguards show plating loss and age. The grained brown hardwood grip remains in excellent shape! There are scratches and minor wear but no cracks, chips or splits! The copper eagle is nicely detailed and fits perfectly in the grip! The SA roundel also looks excellent, retains 100% of its enamel and has a perfect fit! Included is an original short hanger with dry leather. A nice RZM SA for your collection!
