Early NSKK Dagger by Hugo Linder LINOR

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

Here we have an early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Hugo Linder of Solingen. The bright blade on this one has been repointed, the blade measures 209mm. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and maker mark are both deeply executed! The fit remains nice and tight! Due to the repointing this blade rates an VG. It shows evidence that it has been cleaned, along with runner marks. The scabbard is steel based and black painted. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 98%+ paint coverage. The scabbard fittings are solid nickel-silver. The ball is perfect. All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is snug and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "Wf" (Westfalen) and is serialized, "25326". The brown hardwood grip shows nice graining and tones. It is crack and chip-free. There are wee normal bumps from period use. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a near perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100%+ of its enamel. If you can forgive the tip you have a great piece here!
