Rare Early SA Dagger by Emil Kaiser

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

An early Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Emil Kaiser & Co of Solingen. This one rates a 10 on the McSarr. The blade on this one is nice. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed! It's been cleaned at some point. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. This blade rates a solid Exc+/Exc++. It shows minor spotting, surface scratches and minor runner marks. The steel based brown anodized scabbard looks great. The dent-free scabbard body retains a nice brown color and retains 95% of it's factory lacquer over the anodized finish. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent. The ball is pushed in and all four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked “Nm”, (Nordmark). The brown chip and Crack-free hardwood grip is in great shape. It has a perfect fit to the crossguards. It shows minor pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A rare example.
