Eugen Weigel's SS Rohm, Award and Document Grouping

Here we have a fabulous grouping that was obtained directly by me from the Veterans family in Germany. You will not get better provenance than what I have on this guy. Well short of going over to Germany and buying one from a living Vet. There is a chain of ownership that goes right back to him. Not some US GI, but him- Eugen Weigel! Buying an SS dagger from the family of ownership rarely happens anymore most families want to forget that chapter of history and I'm proud to be able to offer this one to the collecting market!
In this grouping you get a personalized and numbered Partial Rohm SS Dagger, a 10 and 15 Year NSDAP Long Service Medal (which are mint and match his service) and best of all a Gold Party Badge that is stamped with his NSDAP number! Also included is one inch of documentation of his service records and awards done by noted researcher Ross Kelbaugh from SS-Numbers.com (which BTW includes an SS honor ring photo).
Weigel served with his brother, who was also a member of the SS. He was charged by the Allies after the war and did NOT serve time due to some assistance he provided to Jewish families near the end of hostilities.
The dagger is a desirable Ground Rohm with his name jeweler engraved. It is in Exc++ condition. It is NOT mint. The blade has minor age and retains excellent crossgrain. The logo and inscription are all correctly oriented and spaced on the dagger. The reverse Rohm dedication is almost completely intact with the exception of the R?hm name. The blade rates Exc++. These guards are solid nickel the lower is district stamped "I", over top of that is an SS serial # of the original owner Eugen Weigel. The grip is in great shape! There are some small hits and evidence of period wear but no abuse. The nickel grip eagle is well fit. The runes have lost much of their enamel. The grip fits the crossguards well. The tang nut is a virgin never having been touched. The scabbard has and anodized finish with some oxidizing. All the screws intact. The ball is near perfect. This is a great dagger that has been taken care of.
