Early Ground Rohm Boker SS Dagger

Perfect for someone on a budget and wants a real one! Direct from the Vet's family. Never been messed with, never been apart. The blade on this one has age staining throughout that I have not tried to remeove.. The textbook acid etched "Meine Ehere Heisst Treue" motto reflects the specific attributes of Boker. The correct "Boker Solingen" maker mark that was reserved for only Rohm dedicated daggers is correctly placed and beautifully executed. The etching on both sides match in depth and color. The blade was sharpened at some point. The black anodized scabbard looks good. It retains 93% of it's factory finish with surface oxidation. Both solid nickel scabbard fittings remain with the tip being bashed in and having 1 replacement screw. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards look great. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "I" (Munich). The dyed hardwood grip is in decent shape. It has a large chip to the reverse lower right corner. The solid nickel eagle has a perfect fit and retains beautiful detail! The SS runes retain 99% of their enamel. Shoot guys I see these SS scabbards alone selling for $1k on Ebay!! A fair piece at a fair price!
