Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

An Early Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by H & F. Lauterjung of Solingen. The blade on this one has age and has been cleaned. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "H & F. Lauterjung W. Solingen" maker mark are both nicely executed! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip measures 216mm, so it's been retipped by 4mm, (the width of 4 dimes). This blade rates Exc. It shows the commonly seen age spotting and gray throughout. The steel based, brown anodized dent-free scabbard looks good! A nice brown finish remains! it has wear a bit of oxidation and much lacquer remaining. The solid nickel silver scabbard fittings look great. The ball has a hit to the bottom and all four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel silver crossguards look great as well. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "BO" (Bayerische Ostmark). The brown hardwood grip looks good. It shows small hits and normal pressure marks throughout while remaining chip and crack-free. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has nice patina as well and retains 100% of its enamel
