Eickhorn TENO EM Dagger

A model 1938 TENO - Technische Nothilfe Hauer für Mannschaften und Unterführer by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. The blade has a deep matte maker mark and TENO eagle. The blade has age grey throughout. It's been cleaned hard and there's evidence of old pitting. The numbers under the crossguard are gone. The blade rates VG. The scabbard I'm going to call a repro. It's undented and a repaint. The plated fittings are in good shape with some wear. It looks textbook with the exception of the reverse hanger fitting which is rounded instead of having squared off corners. Honestly, this may be original with the hanger fitting having been repaired. All screws are intact. The hilt has extensive plating loss and some one at some point decided it would be a good idea to paint & lacquer it. That's why it's appears yellow/gold. So no guys not mint but a fraction of what you would expect to pay.
