Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by G. Spitzer of Solingen. Here we have a beautiful SA Dagger! The bright blade on this one looks excellent! The crisp, acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "C. Gustav Spitzer Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is very nice and can be seen the full length of the blade. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates an Exc++/NM. It has been lightly cleaned and shows minor age graying throughout. The steel based, black repainted scabbard body looks excellent! It shows the odd mark/scratch yet retains a good finish and continues to remain completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great with minor evidence of period wear. They match the crossguards quite nicely. The ball retains a round shape. All four screws continue to remain intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau marked "No" ( Nordsee). The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The brown grained wood grip looks good. It is chip and crack-free with common pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle is beautiful detailed and has a perfect fit! The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel! Included is a well worn early hanger. A nice clean piece!
