A Transitional Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by RZM M7/13 - Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co. of Solingen-Wald. The ricassoed, mottoed blade on this one looks excellent! The “Blut und Ehre!” motto, “RZM M7/13” and “Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co. Solingen-Wald” maker marks are all beautifully executed! Wonderful crossgrain remains and is easily visible as you shine it in the light. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. The blade rates an Exc++. It has age grey thoughout. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard looks excellent. It retains 99%+ paint coverage and remains completely dent free! It shows minor spidering throughout. The folded black leather strap is “LSF” marked. The button strap portion is broken with the post portion ripped off but still attached to the socket. This could be repaired if you wanted. The iron-based nickel-silver plated hilt retains 99%+ of its plated finish. Minor oxidization spotting. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in perfect shape and are secured by two nickel-silver rivets. The large HJ diamond is gorgeous, retaining 99%+ of its enamel! A great example!
