NSKOV Mitgliedsabzeichen by RZM M1/52 - Deschler & Sohn of München. The NSKOV (National Sozialistische Kriegsopferversorung - National Socialist War-disabled-support Organization), was formed in 1930 and institutionalized in 1933, as an associated society assisting NSDAP party members who had become disabled as a result of war injuries. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc-alloy base that has been silver plated. The obverse features the NSKOV emblem, which consists of a mobile swastika on top of a textured Iron Cross which lies on a vertically pointed broad sword and in encircled by an oak leaf wreath. The full back reverse is maker marked and features a vertically soldered on nickel-silver pin assembly, that apprears to have been repaired at some point. It measures 5/8 of an inch wide by 1 ¼ inches tall. A nice membership pin!
