2nd Model Navy Dagger by Eickhorn

A M1938 - 2nd Model Kriegsmarine Dolch für Offiziere by Eickhorn. Here's a fine looking period upgraded example! The plain blade on this one looks perfect. The "Original Eickhorn Solingen" 1935-1941 maker mark is beautifully stamped! The blade rates an Mint. The tan leather buffer pad remains intact. The brass based, gold gilded, choice upgraded dent-free hammered scabbard is in superior condition! There is a small impression to the lower reverse you will have to use your fingers to find. The throat retaining screws remain intact. The brass based hilt and pommel look great! The scabbard release button remains in fine working condition. The proud eagle is beautifully detailed! The bone based grip looks great with fine striations! The double twisted wire wrap has come off at the bottom, it could easily be replased but I prefer to leave these are is. A nice piece with some great features!!
