Here's a good example just in from an advanced collection. Blade is a plated example with no sharpening. It shows the odd dot of age but that's it! The buffer is intact. Rates NM. It is correctly stamped with the mid-period Eickhorn maker mark. Scabbard has minor wear and a few scratches retaining 99% of paint and remaining dent-free. Perfect diamond grip plates are nicely fit without any damage and secured with unmessed with rivets. No cracks or chips anywhere. The nickel plated hilt retains 99% of factory plating with an old green wool plug in the mortise slot. An original supple frog is included. Rare to find a pioneer.
