Seitengewehr. A great piece with a great blade! The blade on this one is beautiful! It retains excellent bluing, has a solid fit and sharp tip! The reverse is maker marked and the spine correctly proofed 1915. The blade rates Exc++/NM. The anodized scabbard has light wear with several small hits and pressure marks throughout. The throat retaining screw remains intact and unturned. The grooved hardwood grip plates are chip and crack-free. They are secured with spanner bolts. The button works well. The whole piece matches in age and patina. A great example!
