Well here's a great matching example! The dark blued blade on this one looks excellent! The tip and fit are both perfect and there is no sharpening or damage! The front of the blade is stamped "6631 l" (distribution mark) and the back, "43 cvl" indicating the year of construction (1943) and the manufacturer (WKC). The stamps exactly match the scabbard. The blade rates a solid Mint-. It shows some bluing loss from in and out action. The steel based, black anodized scabbard ia clean. It remains completely dent free! The single side screw remains tightly intact. The scabbard sits securely up against the hilt. The hilt looks great! It has good look throughout and retains a nice anodized finish! The brown wood grip plates are in beautiful condition! No cracks, splits, chips or damage! The button works properly. This piece is profusely inspection stamped as one would expect. Overall this one is in excellent shape throughout!
