This is a beautiful model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/66 1938 (Carl Eickhorn of Solingen). The blade on this one looks great. It has a dark and beautifully executed "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and double, RZM M 7/66 1938 Eickhorn Solingen, maker mark! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight, the crossgrain is stunning against the light running the full length of the blade. The blade rates and easy Exc++. There is just a bit of age, yet it still remains nice and bright. The brown painted scabbard has some scratches throughout. The scabbard fittings are nice and bright and the lower is solid nickel. The ball has taken a wee hit on the very bottom. All of the screws remain intact and unturned! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The crossguards look good with minor plating lifting towards the wood. The grip / crossguard fits are great. The brown hardwood grip is in beautiful condition. No cracks, jus a microscopic flake to the lower left obverse. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and has a perfect fit.
