2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger

A M1937 Fliegerdolch. The unmarked blade on this one looks good! It has a perfect tip and solid fit. The blade on this one rates a NM. It has the most minor or age holding this back from being mint. The original blue pebbled leather buffer pad remains intact. The whole exterior has nicely patinaed. The steel based, undented airplane grey plated scabbard looks near perfect. It depicts good details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and both headless throat retaining screws remain intact! The aluminum eagle crossguard has nice detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The early trylon grip is an eye pleasing orange. I see no cracks or chips. The early brass double-twist wire wrap remains intact. It comes with a worn and frayed 23cm portepee. A fine piece!
