M1935 Heer Dolchgehänge. The back connector, buckles and bands are all constructed out of an aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. The buckles and bands depict beautiful oak leaves and acorns throughout. The well working clips are zinc-alloy based and silver washed, (most of which has been absorbed) and have a touch of pebbled detail to them. The prongs are aluminum based. Two zinc grommets remain intact. All of these components are held together with two straps. They are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a later green twill fabric material (reverse) and a patterned aluminum flatwire stitching (obverse).
