Assmann Pattern!! These are the one's the guys "in the know" want. - Deluxe M1937 Luftwaffen Dolchgehänge. The back connector, buckles, bands and clips are all constructed out of an injection molded zinc alloy base. They all depict a unique oak leaves and acorns throughout. Only Assmann used this design and they are rightly desired by collectors. The grommets and the prongs are steel based. All of these components are held together with two straps. The straps are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a blue-grey felt material (reverse) and a patterned cotton, rayon and aluminum flat-wire stitching (obverse). The upper clip is secured with steel tabs. All of the clips continue to work well. Minor cloth damage. A unique late war set!
