Long Fireman's Sawback Bayonet by Eickhorn
Feuerschutzpolizei EM/NCO bayonet with frog. The 25cm plated blade on this one has wear and has been cleaned. The early stamped double oval Eickhorn mark is beautifully executed. The original leather buffer pad is lost to time. The steel based, black enamel repainted scabbard is in good condition! It remains completely dent free and retains 99%+ of its' paint! The nickel plated steel hilt is in excellent condition, with 98% plating still intact! This piece also has two perfect diamond grip plates that are nicely fit without any damage and are secured by 2 untouched nickel rivets. No cracks or chips anywhere. Included is a well worn frog.
