Early NSKK Dagger by Daniel Peres

Here we have an early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Daniel Peres of Solingen. So this just arrived from the Vet's family yesterday. It's never been apart or cleaned other than I removed some oil from the blade. The blade on this one has goo crossgrain and some age spotting. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Daniel Peres Solingen" maker mark are both dark visible and correctly executed. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The steel based, black period repainted scabbard looks good. It has an umpression to the side that you will need to use your fingers to find and it is hardly visible to the eye. The period repaint to regulation black retains 70% of its original period repainted finish you can see the original brown anodized finish underneath. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent. The ball retains its' round shape with a bruise to the very bottom and all four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The brown hardwood grip looks good! There are no cracks or chips. The patinaed solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The patinaed and slightly turned SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. Included is an original "long snout" and well worn black short hanger which is quite right for an SS or NSKK dagger.
