Extra-Seitengewehr 98K mit Seitengewehrtasche. A nice extra cost feature with stag grips! The bright plated 200mm unmarked blade has some scuffs. It's in excellent condition with just light wear. The blade rates NM. There are just light runner marks but that's it. I just added a buffer that was missing. The black enamel painted scabbard has some wee scratches and a big dent to the reverse. If you know a good body shop guy he can put this out for you. 98% of the original paint remains intact. The original throat retaining screw remains intact and unturned. The scabbard fits the hilt perfectly! The nickel-plated alloy hilt has lost most of it's factory plating. The fully functioning mortise button remains. There is a piece of red wool felt in the mortise slot. The desirable multi-toned ersatz stag grips plates are well fit and secured with 2 plated steel rivets. Ersatz is a tern used meaning that a substitute material was used for the grip plates replacing the stag horn with in this case carved wood. They are in near perfect condition with no cracks or chips anywhere.
