Etched NCO Sword
A good example of an Imperial dove head NCO sword. The blade on this piece has darkening and lots of age I have not tried to clean up. It is a presentation piece in honor of retirement. The blade is unmarked. The original red felt buffer pad remains intact. The undented black scabbard has surface oxidization wear scratches etc. The ring is fixed solid as most of these Imperial era examples are. The scabbard throat is tightly secured by the two dome head screws. The plated steel fittings show wear and some oxidation. The black celluloid grip is crack and chip-free and a few odd wires are loose.
