Japanese Type 90 Combat Helmet

Here we have the standard type 90 Japanese combat helmet. The shell is constructed out of a steel base that has been painted in an olive drab. The shell shows no dents or holes, minor oxidization spotting and retains 95% of its original paint. The shell also shows four ventilation holes to the top, six rivets, two split rivets and a POST-WAR ADDED IJA olive drab painted metal star affixed to the front. The interior shows a three padded brown leather POST-WAR ADDED liner, no chin strap. The leather is in excellent condition with all of its stitching and only minor scuffs and sweat stains. The netting is post war and has been added.
