Kaiserliche Marine S.M.S. Bremen Mützenband. The SMS Bremen (Bremen-class cruisers) was launched on July 9, 1903, and sunk in a Russian minefield on December 15, 1915 It is constructed out of a black satin/rayon base with gold-colored machine stitched thread. The obverse reads, in gold: “S.M.S. Bremen” on a black base. The top and bottom have chain-like re-enforce stitching. One thread catch. It measures 39 3/4 inches long by 1 5/16 inches wide.
