Wehrmacht-Luftwaffen Sommer-Hoheitsabzeichen für Offiziere by Steinhauer & Lück of Lüdenscheid. It is constructed out of an injection molded zinc-alloy base that has been silver washed. The obverse depicts the second pattern Luftwaffe eagle with outstretched wings clutching a mobile swastika in one of its talons. The full-back reverse features two ejector pin marks, a crimped-on nickel-silver round wire catch, crimped-on nickel-silver sheet metal hinge and a nickel-silver round wire pin. It measures 3 5/16 inches wide by 1 13/16 inches tall.
