A Volksdeutsche Bewegung (Ethnic German Movement) in Luxembourg Parteiabzeichen by Klein & Quenzer of Idar/Oberstein. The VdB was a Nazi movement in Luxembourg that flourished under the German-occupied Luxembourg during World War II. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been red, white and black painted. The round shaped obverse depicts a red pebbled mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: “Heim ins Reich” (Home to the Reich) on a black pebbled backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a soldered-on round plate that holds a horizontally placed steel pin that remains in well working condition though is bent some. The reverse is also maker marked “K. & Q.” (Klein & Quenzer AG., Idar/Oberstein.). Typical zinc pest. The pin measures 15/16 of an inch in diameter.
