Rigid - SS Allgemeine Car Pennant by RZM M3/61
SS Wimpel Allgemein by M3/61 - Max Knobloch GmBH of Döbeln. It is constructed out of a steel base that has been black and white painted. The triangular shaped obverse features the encircled SS emblem, in white, on a black base with a stitching look-a-like border to the fly end. The reverse is the same as the obverse. The hoist end has a folded over re-enforcing piece, with two steel rectangular attachment pieces that are secured to the flag with aluminum rivets. The lower piece is maker marked: “RZM M3/61”. The pennant continues to hold 98%+ of its paint coverage. Typical scratches and nice patina. It measures 12 7/8 inches long (without attachment pieces) by 8 5/8 inches tall. A very rare and desirable piece. We aquired this piece from the nephew of the veteran who brought it back.
