The book is set-up to tell the story of world events as a backdrop to the growth and assumption of power in Germany of the Nazi Party under Adolf Hitler. Beginning with entry for January 8, 1918, the photos and text in this book cover the beginnings of the Nazi Party, its attempt to take over power in Munich, the economic crisis in Germany, the worldwide depression, the NSDAP campaign for control of the Reichstag (Parliament), the appointment of Hitler as Reichdchancellor, the death of Hindenburg, the combining of the office of Chancellor and Reichspräsident, and the reclaiming of the German Saarland in January 13, 1935. Complete with all photos. 98 pages. Minor wear. Overall excellent condition. It measures 11 1/2 inches tall by 13 3/4 inches wide by 3/4 of an inch thick.
