Adolf Hitler - Bilder aus dem Leben des Führers. This German 1935 Cigarette Card Album “Adolf Hitler” is original and complete. Broken down into 15 separate categories with descriptions and over 185 black & white photographs, published in 1936 by Cigaretten Bilderdienst Hamburg Bahrenfeld. Cigaretten - Bilderdienst was a German tobacco company which published blank books and sets of photos for those books which they marketed as a promotion for the cigarettes and tobacco they produced. This is volume 15 in their series of books. This album features orange leatherette cardboard cover with “Adolf Hitler” in gold Gothic letters on cover and spine with photographs by Hitler’s personal photographer, Heinrich Hoffmann. All cards are present and still affixed, one is bent. Has photos of Hitler giving speeches, presiding over parades and rallies, as well as candid photos of Hitler on vacation, at home, and with children. The book is approximately 9.5 x 12.25 inches in size with 133 pages. Minor rub marks to the cover. The rare issue cardstock case has a broken flap.
